Despite the fact that Blake Lively recently unfollowed her husband on Instagram (along with a slew of other people), she and Ryan Reynolds are still going strong. This week, they showed up to the premiere of Reynolds’ new movie, “Deadpool 2,” together and not only was Lively right there by her husband’s side, but she was also dressed in homage to his foul-mouthed superhero character.
Her red-carpet dress was black and red, just like Deadpool, and she couldn’t have looked more stunning. She wore a sequined black jumpsuit and paired it with a chic red sash. She’d make one fashionable hero. Now that’s a movie I’d love to see!
Reynolds did not pay tribute to his character with his three-piece suit, but he looked dashing, nonetheless:
Reynolds apparently loved her outfit, telling “Entertainment Tonight” that Lively “rocked” the look. And the clothes weren’t the only way Lively supported Reynolds’ pet project. She also got a Deadpool-inspired manicure, complete with tiny versions of the character painted onto some nails!

Reynolds noted that he would do the same for Lively if she was starring in a superhero flick.
“If she were Gwenpool I’d be wearing the Deadpool colors as well,” Reynolds told “Entertainment Tonight,” referencing a character from Marvel’s comic book universe. How cute!
This wasn’t the only time Reynolds has opened up about how his wife has supported him and helped him grow. At the 2017 Met Gala, Reynolds told Humans of New York:
“She always responds with empathy. She meets anger with empathy. She meets hate with empathy,” he said. “She’ll take the time to imagine what happened to a person when they were five or six years old. And she’s made me a more empathetic person.”

What’s not to love about this Hollywood couple?
