Skip The Cooking This Thanksgiving With A Pre-Made Meal From Bob Evans
Thanksgiving is supposed to be about being thankful for your blessings. But during the days leading up to the Thanksgiving meal, gratitude may be the farthest thing from your mind. Instead, you’re thinking “oops, I forgot to buy the gravy” or “where is Grandma sitting?”
In an effort to put what’s really important about Thanksgiving at the forefront, the restaurant chain Bob Evans is working to make your meal way easier to prepare. Instead of stressing about recipes, grocery shopping and preparing all of the food this year, Bob Evans is selling a pre-made Thanksgiving meal.
The Thanksgiving Farmhouse Feast To-Go meal options only require heating, and then they’re ready to serve. We’ll be the first to admit, something like this would certainly take the hassle out of the holiday!
“Thanksgiving is a time that’s meant to be spent with family and friends, building memories around the dining room table over great-tasting food,” Saed Mohseni, president and CEO of Bob Evans Farms, Inc. said in a press release. “We take pride in providing quality, homestyle holiday dishes that our guests are looking to include on their Thanksgiving tables and we’re thrilled to offer guests a complete meal option at such a great value. This allows hosts to spend less time in the kitchen and more time around the table with the ones they love most.”
There are three different meal options from which to choose: ham, turkey or both. The turkey and ham meals contain bread and celery dressing, homestyle mashed potatoes, gravy, buttered sweet corn, green beans with ham, a pumpkin pie with whipped topping and a loaf of pumpkin bread. The meal that includes both turkey and ham features all those foods, plus macaroni and cheese, cranberry relish, and an apple pie.
Options can serve four, eight or 12 people—of course, that depends on how much everyone eats! The meals can be ordered through Nov. 22 and cost between $49.99 and $109.99. You can either order online, on the phone or pick one up at a location near you. Once you’ve gotten the food, all you have to do is heat, serve and devour!
Unfortunately, Bob Evans locations aren’t available all across the country, but they are in 18 different states. Find out if there’s a Bob Evans restaurant near you so you can take advantage of this offer.
Of course, this isn’t the only establishment prepared to make your Thanksgiving easier. Trader Joe’s is basically selling Thanksgiving dinner in a box for $12.99 and as an easy dessert option that is sure to please many, you can order a PieCaken online nationwide.
So, if you want to take the guesswork out of preparing a Thanksgiving feast, these are just a few ideas to get you going. Once the orders are placed, just sit back and relax because the food is on its way!
