Tiffany’s Opened A Cafe, So You Can Literally Eat Breakfast At Tiffany’s Now

In the iconic movie “Breakfast at Tiffany’s,” Audrey Hepburn’s character Holly Golightly eats a croissant outside the famous Tiffany & Co. jewelry store while gazing longingly at the merchandise through the window.

While she never got to have a proper breakfast inside Tiffany’s, now you can. (And you don’t even have to bring your own croissant!) In 2017, the Blue Box Cafe opened on the fourth floor of the Tiffany & Co. flagship store, located at 727 Fifth Avenue in New York City.

The menu is in line with the brand’s reputation for luxury. For $29, you can nosh on avocado toast, truffled eggs, or a smoked salmon bagel with a schmear. For lunch, a flat $39 will get you a starter and main course.  Other offerings include the “Fifth Avenue Salad,” which features lobster and avocado, and the C.L.T. sandwich, which stands for both creator “Charles Lewis Tiffany” and chicken, lettuce and tomato.

The fourth floor of Tiffany’s, where the cafe is located, is home to the store’s luxury home and accessories collection. The brand shared a picture of its renovated fourth floor on Instagram, and it looks like a Tiffany-lover’s dream come true:

“The café is yet another reason to visit our new fourth floor, and we hope it will draw customers up to experience the artfully composed home of Tiffany’s new luxury home and accessories collection of elevated everyday objects,” Richard Moore, the company’s vice president creative director who is overseeing the store and window design, told Vanity Fair at the time of the cafe’s opening.

The cafe is decked out in iconic Tiffany blue, right down to the chairs’ slipcovers and the china plates — another design choice that the brand said was deliberate.

“Design of the space began from the idea of immersion in Tiffany — not only the feeling of being inside a blue box, but surrounded by Tiffany hospitality,” Moore said.

At the time of its opening, Tiffany’s hosted a launch party to christen the new space with bloggers, celebrities, and other special guests in attendance.

In the years since, plenty of other stars have made appearances there. Priyanka Chopra even held her bridal shower there in October 2018, shortly before marrying Nick Jonas!

Who could blame her for the choice? The fourth floor where the cafe is located has plenty of cool elements, including this Tiffany blue and white ping pong table. We call the next game!

Even if you can’t afford to buy a single item at Tiffany’s, at least you can eat breakfast there.

Visitors have continued to share pictures from their visit to the cafe, and the food looks almost as good as the space. This high tea looks amazing!
