Bud Light is launching a line of boozy ice pops in 3 fruity flavors

Bud Light is looking to make this the summer of nostalgia by offering not only a new Bud Light seltzer Retro Summer pack (in tie-dyed cans!), but also a brand-new line of icicles with flavors that will have you reminiscing about your childhood summers.

Hitting store shelves now, Bud Light Retro Summer seltzers and icicles are available in three nostalgia-inducing flavors: cherry limeade, blue raspberry and “summer ice.” The variety 12-pack comes in 12-ounce slim cans featuring tie-dye packaging, while the icicles are 2 ounces each, also in a 12-pack.

Both the Bud Light Retro Summer pack and icicles are made with cane sugar and have 100 calories, less than 1 gram of sugar and 5% alcohol by volume (ABV).

You can probably already taste the flavors just by thinking about them — the cherry limeade is sweet and tart with a cherry fruit-punch flavor and zesty lime finish, while blue raspberry pairs tart raspberry with the taste of a blue snow cone.

Summer ice is a bit less self-explanatory. But Light says it has the flavors of lemon, cherry and blueberry for a take on a classic red, white and blue patriotic Firecracker Pop.

These are a handful of boozy icicles you can find in stores this summer from a variety of brands, including Natural Light, Slim Chillers, frozen margarita popsicles from Ritas and also new for this summer, lemonade pops from Truly Hard Seltzer.

Truly’s new Truly Lemonade Freeze Pops are available in 26 states and come in original, mango and strawberry flavors. Each pop has 80 calories and 5% ABV, similar to Truly’s seltzers.

If you want something stronger, Cutwater Spirits’ cocktail popsicles contain 7% ABV and come in four flavors: gin melon, vodka mule, rum and cola and tequila margarita.

You’ll also find new pops from Daily’s Poptails in three flavors: strawberry, watermelon and green apple. Each pop is wine-based and has 90 calories and 6.8% ABV. The pops are available nationwide at retailers including Target, Sam’s Club and Walmart in 12-pack variety boxes for around $14.99.

Bud Light Seltzer also just introduced another new drink for summer: Bud Light Seltzer Iced Tea. The new boozy tea comes in four flavors, each with 100 calories, less than 1 gram of sugar and 5% ABV.
