Bud Light Seltzer’s Ugly Sweater variety pack has some interesting holiday flavors

Hard seltzer may be the unofficial drink of summer, but Bud Light is looking to make it a year-round beverage with its Ugly Sweater variety pack of hard seltzer, which includes four holiday-inspired flavors: Cherry Cordial, Cranberry, Seltzer Nog and Sugar Plum.
All four hard seltzer flavors in the new variety pack are made with cane sugar and natural fruit flavors. Each can has 5% alcohol by volume, less than 1 gram of sugar and 100 calories. The pack of 12-ounce slim cans will be in stores nationwide beginning Nov. 1.
If you like fruit flavors for the holidays, there are three to choose from in the new pack. Cherry Cordial has flavors of chocolate and cherry, while Sugar Plum tastes like mixed berry, cranberry and plum. The tart-sweet Cranberry flavor is actually available year-round, but it’s included in the pack because it’s also a seasonal flavor. Lastly, the Seltzer Nog has notes of cinnamon and vanilla, just like egg nog.
If Bud Light’s new holiday flavors aren’t your thing, Truly is also launching a holiday pack that includes four different flavors: Cran Orange Sparkler, Pomegranate Ginger Fizz, Holiday Sangria Style and Spiked Apple Spice.
There are plenty of non-seltzer holiday-flavored adult beverages you could try this season, including peppermint bark liqueur from multiple brands like RumChata. Aldi also has a peppermint bark wine, which is a blend of white wine with peppermint and white chocolate flavor and cream.
If you like apple flavors, you can also find Baileys Apple Pie Liqueur, which would make a perfect after-dinner drink for Thanksgiving, Christmas or, you know, any day of the week.
Of course, you can also make your own holiday drinks with alcohols you may already have on hand, like this decadent “Santa’s Sin” cocktail made with salted caramel vodka, RumChata and hot chocolate or this salted caramel martini, which also calls for salted caramel vodka, plus caramel liquor, caramel syrup and simple syrup.
If you’re looking for a Christmas morning cocktail, you can even make a caramel apple mimosa or peppermint mimosa, which features champagne, white Creme de Cocoa and, of course, candy canes!
