Buffalo Wild Wings is topping wings with gold ‘Glitter’ for the Winter Olympics

Even your chicken wings are getting into the spirit of the Winter Olympics.

In celebration of the PyeongChang Games, Buffalo Wild Wings is offering to dust its wings in gold glitter—aka flavorless sugar sprinkles—during the entire month of February. A little weird? Definitely. But it looks cool and may certainly put you in a winning mood!

For wing purists who are worried this golden adornment will change the taste of their wings, Buffalo Wild Wings assures it will not. And it can be added to any wing order free of charge! All you have to do is ask your server for some “Wing Bling.”

Buffalo Wild Wings is hardly the only company using the idea of Olympic gold to jazz up its products in honor of the games. Each time the United States scores a gold medal in 2018, you have the opportunity to win a free Hershey’s Gold Bar.

In fact, the company will be giving away at least 10,000 bars every time the U.S. wins gold! In order to qualify, you must click on the link that will be posted on Hershey’s Facebook and Twitter pages. Hershey’s Gold is a “caramelized creme” bar with peanuts and pretzels and is the brand’s first new bar in more than 20 years.

But perhaps the best Olympic-themed promotion of them all? Verizon, T-Mobile, AT&T and Sprint are each offering free roaming for their customers who are actually in South Korea for the games!

“Sprint continues to lead the competition by providing customers free international text and data in more places around the world than any competitor and offers the best options for high-speed data,” said Roger Solé, Sprint chief marketing officer, in a statement. “We want customers heading to South Korea to have the most memorable experience and the ability to capture those moments and share with their loved ones without changing plans, fearing excessive data charges or suffering data caps.”
