7-foot lighted purple willow tree will make your yard stand out for Halloween

The Home Depot

There are two types of people when it comes to Halloween decorations: those that like them slightly eerie but magical and colorful, and those who like their Halloween to be downright scary. If you love the spooky season but aren’t a fan of things that go bump in the night, decorating with fun lights and perhaps cute pumpkins and ghosts is the way to go.

This Halloween, if you’re looking for something spooky but pretty for outside your house, The Home Depot has a 7-foot lighted purple willow tree that is sure to make your yard look festive.

The $129 tree is weather-resistant, so it is for indoor or outdoor use. It is illuminated by purple LED lights that cover each branch and hang down just like a willow tree.

If you’re looking for a tree that it’s a bit spookier, The Home Depot also has an 8-foot LED tree with a scary face. The tree is illuminated by 60 LED lights for an eerie glow and costs $149.

For indoor or outdoor use, this tree is made from a metal frame covered in weather-resistant material, so it’s OK if gets rained on or snowed on, depending on how soon snow begins to fall where you live.

If you want to upgrade the scary factor even further, the home improvement store has a handful of other over-sized outdoor decor items as well, including a 6-foot Jack-in-the-Box, a 7.5-foot Headless Horseman and a 9-foot tall pirate ship with a skeleton captain and an animated steering wheel.

They also have 12-foot-tall skeleton with life-like animated LCD eyes for $299 and a nearly 6-foot dragon that breathes fog for $399. The dragon not only has LED-illuminated red eyes and makes roaring dragon sounds, but it also connects to a fog machine! (Which is sold separately.)

You’ll also find an entire “The Nightmare Before Christmas” collection, which includes a sound– and motion-activated 70-inch animated Sally doll and a pre-lit 5-foot-tall inflatable Jack Skellington that even comes with Zero the dog.

There’s also a giant Oogie Boogie inflatable that stands 10.5 feet tall and is LED-powered for $149. From Airblown, it self-inflates and deflates in seconds and can be used indoors or outdoors.
