This adorable llama yoga calendar is just what you need for 2020

When you think about it, the animal kingdom inspires the names of many of our favorite yoga poses. Downward facing dog. The peacock pose. The cat-cow pose that stretches the back and neck.

Suffice it to say, animals and yoga go together. So it’s pretty darn fitting that you can get a 2020 wall calendar that’s filled with adorable yoga poses performed by one of our favorite furry animals, one that’s ascended to fame in pop culture in recent years — llamas.

The llama-doing-yoga wall calendar sells for $9.99 on Amazon.

Here’s the fun description of the calendar: “Llamas were awesome to begin with… who knew that they were also aspiring yogis! Join these furry, oh-so-trendy pack animals for their next warrior series. Llamaste.” Cute, right?

The 18-month calendar shows flexible llamas flaunting poses like Warrior 3, cobra pose and more. Really, it’s the perfect calendar for both yogis and animal lovers.

Of course, your calendar options aren’t limited to llamas. The calendar maker, Willow Creek Press, has also created a cute sloth yoga calendar that’s also available on Amazon ($9.91) and that gives this description: “these sloth yogis are in no rush to complete their 2020 yoga sequence, often taking an entire month just to complete a single pose.” Just look at this smiling, zen-looking sloth!

There’s also a cow yoga calendar ($8.97) that, dare we say it, is udderly adorable. No cow-tipping here; this bovine is exercising some impeccable balancing skills.

Want to actually do yoga with llamas? As we enter 2020, the yoga-with-animals fitness trend shows no signs of slowing down. There are actual Yoga With Llamas classes you can take in Waconia, Minnesota in warmer months.

The yoga on a farm trend started with goat yoga a few years back. Now, you can do alpaca yoga at a farm and practice flamingo yoga in the Bahamas. We’re curious about what other yoga-meets-animal trends are in store for 2020.
