Lucky Charms’ packs of Just Magical Marshmallows are returning

If you missed out last summer when Lucky Charms released bags of just their marshmallows, you now have another chance to grab some.

Just Magical Marshmallows has officially returned to store shelves at major retailers nationwide for a suggested retail price of $3.99 for a four-ounce pack. For a limited time, the pouches feature a mix of all the colorful marshmallow charms inside the cereal — in hearts, stars, horseshoes, clovers, blue moons, unicorns, rainbows and red balloons — and that’s it.

The marshmallows in the Just Magical Marshmallows packs are the exact same ones you’ll find in the cereal, so you can either use them to add more marshmallows to your breakfast or just eat them as a snack right from the bag.

A General Mills representative tells Simplemost that fans can even pick packaging with their favorite charm, as the packs come in eight different designs, each celebrating one of the charms and its unique power.

Yes, the charms have powers — in case you didn’t you know. The charms’ powers vary from the heart charm’s ability to bring things to life to the blue moon granting the power of invisibility, the horseshoe giving you the power to speed up time and the star helping you fly.

Though the packaging varies, each bag still has a mix of all the charms.

While this is only the second time General Mills has offered bags of just Lucky Charms marshmallows for sale, in 2019, the brand teamed up with Kraft to create Jet-Puffed Lucky Charms Marshmallows.

Unlike the Just Magical Marshmallows, the Jet-Puffed Charms Magically Delicious Marshmallows are the big, soft, fluffy Jet-Puffed marshmallows you use in recipes or on s’mores. The marshmallows are still available and come in the famous Lucky Charms colors and shapes of a moon, star, four-leaf clover and heart.

If you’re a big Lucky Charms fan, you may be happy to know you can also find the magically delicious flavors in Pillsbury cookie dough, Swiss Miss hot cocoa and oatmeal.

A few years ago, a brewery in Virginia even made a Lucky Charms-flavored beer, which was made using the actual marshmallows, some of which they toasted first.
