With Disney’s “Frozen 2” having hit movie theaters nationwide last week, there are lots of products on the market to celebrate the opening of the long-awaited sequel. We’ve seen everything from massive “Frozen” cakes that feed more than 60 people to Williams-Sonoma bakeware featuring Elsa, Anna, Olaf, even Sven the reindeer. Now, two ice cream giants have used their frosty talents to give the world some new frozen treats!
If you like having your ice cream in scoops, then you’ll want to check out Edy’s Ice Cream two newest flavors. That’s right, we said two limited-edition flavors to celebrate “Frozen 2!” It might be hard to choose between this pair!
“Frozen” fans know how much Queen Elsa and Princess Anna love chocolate, so it makes perfect sense that Edy’s created ChocOLAF Fudge Swirl. Inspired by the snowman who loves warm hugs, ChocOlaf Fudge Swirl has a chocolate-marshmallow ice cream base with layers of fudge and candies shaped like Olaf’s carrot nose.
Or, you might want your dessert to have a more royal and fabulous flair. Edy’s Magical Mint Snowflake ice cream looks like something Elsa created herself! It’s blue mint ice cream crammed full of chocolate cookie chunks and purple candy snowflakes.
Both limited-edition Edy’s Ice Cream flavors are sold in your favorite grocery store’s frozen dessert aisle. We also found the half-liter tubs at Walmart.com for $3.48 (although Magical Mint Snowflake is already sold out!). People Magazine reports both flavors will be available through 2020, though, so hopefully you’ll be able to score some soon.
Do you prefer cake? If so, Carvel Ice Cream now offers the Frozen 2 Ice Cream Cake. The cake has one layer of chocolate ice cream on the bottom with a layer of vanilla ice cream sitting on top. Nestled in between them is a rich layer of chocolate crunchies. Yum! We also love the snowflake decoration on top of the cake with the blue and white icing that mirrors the iconic design from the movie.
The Carvel Frozen 2 Ice Cream Cake can be found for $14.99 in many major grocery chains including Kroger, Meijer, and Walmart.
So, you can pick some up either before or after the family heads to see the movie in theaters soon!
