Can You Figure Out The Answer To This Fruit Puzzle Meant For Kids?

This puzzle has been driving everyone on the internet crazy. The Daily Mail first started talking about in December, and we’re not exactly sure where it came from. Can you solve the equation? Scroll down below the image for some hints.

On the first line, 3 apples equals 30. So we can assume that each apple must equal 10.

On line two, you may assume that each banana bunch equals 4.

Now, a bunch of bananas (4) minus two coconut halves equals 2. So we should be able to assume that the coconuts equal 2, right?

But then on line 4, there’s only one coconut half and 3 bananas in the bunch. Does that matter?
