Carson Daly Posts Emotional Message To His Late Mom

Our thoughts go out to his family.

Two weeks ago, TV host Carson Daly lost his mother. Pattie Daly Caruso reportedly passed away after a sudden heart attack, according to US Weekly. On Sunday, her son posted a sweet message on Twitter, telling her not to worry about the family.

“2 wks [sic] ago mom passed away amidst caring for my ailing dad,” Daily tweeted. “Mom, pops is good. We got him. Just as God has you, we have him, wrapped in love.”

After taking some time off to be with his family, Daly also tweeted that he’d be coming back to work and took the time to thank his “Today” co-workers, along with his fans, for their continued support.

“Back 2 [sic] work in the am. No words express the gratitude I have for @TODAYshow & @NBCTheVoice fam. And YOU. I’ll thank you all on air tomorrow,” he posted to Twitter.

In an initial statement, Carson Daly and his family had this to say about their late matriarch:

“It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our mother, wife, grandmother, Pattie Daly Caruso. She passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 17th, 2017,” it read. “Kiki, as she was known to her grandchildren and many others, touched so many lives with her kindness, her giant spirit, and her love of life. She will be terribly missed by her family and the world, but her spark will shine for eternity.”
