The 25 Worst Airports You’ll Want To Skip This Holiday Season

Holiday flying is the worst. There’s nothing quite like sitting in a metal tube 30,000 feet in the sky with your knees up under your chin battling for arm rest supremacy while you catch a million colds. And that’s after you got strip-searched by the TSA and then charged the gate only to realize that “Zone 2” is the new “Zone 7”.

Avoid the madness and watch this video so you know which terrible airports to skip when planning your holiday travels.

Wow! Watch 2 Men Fly Jetpacks Next To An A380 Plane

As a kid, I loved watching the movie, The Rocketeer. Set in 1938, a stunt pilot finds a jetpack and flies around saving the country.

Now, that dream is even closer to becoming a reality. Yves Rossy (also fondly known as “Jetman“) and his protege, Vince Reffet, stun us in their latest feat: flying in formation alongside an Emirates A380, the world’s largest passenger aircraft.

Meticulously choreographed, the pair and an A380 plane fly above the Dubai skyline to produce amazing video footage of this heart racing stunt.

At only 88 pounds, the jetpacks can zip along at speeds of up to 170 knots (about 195 miles per hour). Want to watch more? Check out their YouTube channel and website.

Adele Is Back, And Better Than Ever With Her Hit Single, ‘Hello’

Adele hasn’t released a song in three years, but that doesn’t mean she’s lost her edge.

Released on October 23rd, her song, “Hello” smashed records with 1,112,000 downloads in a one week period. According to Billboard, her song slashes previous record holder, Flo Rida, and his “Right Round” song. In February 2009, his song accumulated 636,000 downloads in a one week period.

The song’s video has been making waves as well with over 61 million streams in a week. There is only one song that has outplayed Adele’s “Hello” – the “Harlem Shake” by Baauer, with 103 million streams in a one week period.

Perhaps one person that may not be thrilled by Adele’s success? Taylor Swift, as Adele’s video was the “second-fastest video to reach 100 million views on YouTube and broke Taylor Swift’s record for single day views on Vevo,” reports Entertainment Weekly.

With chart toppers like, “Set Fire to the Rain,” “Someone Like You,” and “Rolling in the Deep,”  her third album, 25, will most surely be another hit. Will you buy Adele’s third album, 25, when it’s released on November 20th?

Fast Food Chain Lets Chicken Run Their Twitter Account

No this isn’t a joke. Chicken Treat, an Australian-based chain food restaurant, lets a live chicken, fondly named Betty, tweet their messages.

“Even when she was little, she was a good egg,” states the ChickenTreatAU Youtube video.

So why is Chicken Treat doing this? They hope to make history in the Guinness Book of World Records and have Betty be the first chicken to tweet a real 5-letter English word.

Follow Betty and cheer for her on Twitter at @ChickenTweet and #chickentweet.

China’s Yuntai Mountain Glass Skywalk Cracks After Only 2 Weeks Of Use

On the Yuntai Mountain in the Henan provence of China, there is a U-shaped glass skywalk. Designed to give tourists an unobstructed view of what’s below, it seems like a thrilling opportunity to literally feel like you’re walking on air, or flying amongst the birds.

But excitement turned to fear this week when it was discovered that (only two weeks after opening) a glass panel appears to have cracked.

According to a report from Business Insider, officials are claiming that a tourist dropped a stainless steel thermos on the glass and that caused the first (of three layers) of glass crack.

While I know elements (like my iPhone) are able to withstand extreme amounts of wear and tear, if dropped just the right way, the screen will shatter. However, one would expect that the materials used to suspend people 3,500 feet above sea level would have a bit more stable and superior construction, right?

The attraction is currently closed for repair work. I don’t know about you, but I don’t think I’ll be making a trip to walk on this glass skywalk anytime soon.

Video: John Cena Recognizes 7 Year Old Cancer Survivor

Get out the tissues. While I’m not a WWE fan, I always take a few moments to stop and watch when celebrities and famous athletes pause to recognize, praise and support those fighting battles of their own.

This video is no exception. John Cena and Sting take time to celebrate that 7 year old, Kiara Grindrod, beat cancer. Just goes to prove that even big tough guys can have hearts of gold too.
