Celebrity Babies Born In 2018

Several of Hollywood’s biggest names welcomed new babies to their families this year.

For some stars, like Kirsten Dunst, the little bundles of joy marked their first foray into parenthood. Meanwhile, moms Kate Middleton and Chrissy Teigen continued to add to their growing broods in 2018. And then there’s talk show host Seth Meyers, whose son made a particularly memorable entrance into the world.

Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo: Gio Grace Levine

Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo added another child to their family earlier this year. The Victoria’s Secret Angel gave birth to a baby girl, Gio Grace Levine, in February. Gio is the stars’ second baby; they have another daughter, Dusty Rose, who made her public debut when her dad received his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame last year.

Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott: Stormi Webster

Kylie Jenner welcomed her first child, a baby girl, in February. Neither she nor boyfriend Travis Scott confirmed her pregnancy before the birth, despite months of fervent speculation in the media. She announced the arrival of baby Stormi a few days after she was born, writing, “My beautiful and healthy baby girl arrived February 1st and I just couldn’t wait to share this blessing.” On March 1, she shared these photos of Stormi:

Chrissy Teigen and John Legend: Miles Theodore Stephens

Chrissy Teigen and John Legend’s daughter Luna became a big sister this year. The famous couple welcomed their second child, son Miles Theodore, in May. Legend later revealed the name is meant to pay tribute to musical icon Miles Davis. Teigen shared this adorable photo of baby Miles when he was just a few days old:

Jessie James Decker and Eric Decker: Forrest Bradley Decker

Jessie James Decker gave birth to her third child and second son with husband and NFL player, Eric Decker, in March. The country music singer announced the arrival of Forrest Bradley Decker on Instagram. “We are so in love,” she wrote alongside a sweet photo of her holding the newborn baby:

Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson: True Thompson

The reality TV star gave birth to her first child in April. The baby girl’s arrival came just days after her boyfriend, Cleveland Cavaliers basketball player Tristan Thompson, became embroiled in a highly publicized cheating scandal. Though their relationship always seems to be up and down, one thing that’s constant is that baby True is happy and well — as evidenced by the many photos of the baby’s bright smile mom Khloe often shares on Instagram:

Eva Longoria and José Bastón: Santiago Enrique Bastón

Eva Longoria and husband José Bastón welcomed a baby boy this summer. Santiago Enrique Bastón was born on June 19 in Los Angeles, and by the looks of this Instagram post from Longoria, he’s already enjoying reading books with mom:

Zara and Michael Tindall: Lena Elizabeth Tindall

More than one royal baby was born this year. In June, Queen Elizabeth’s granddaughter Zara Tindall, who is an Olympic equestrian, gave birth to her second child with husband Michael. The couple named their baby girl Lena Elizabeth, and though they’ve kept photos of baby Lena under wraps, the public did get a brief glimpse of her in an ad for iCandy, a baby stroller company that sponsored Tindall.

Miranda Kerr and Evan Spiegel: Hart Spiegel

May is apparently the month of milestones for Miranda Kerr and Evan Spiegel. After tying the knot in May 2017, the couple also welcomed their first child together that same month a year later. Their son, Hart, is the first child for Spiegel and the second for Kerr, who also shares a child with her ex, Orlando Bloom.

Kirsten Dunst and Jesse Plemons: Ennis Howard Piemons

After keeping their relationship mostly under wraps, Kirsten Dunst and Jesse Plemons have also stayed pretty quiet about the arrival of their first child this year. The Blast reported that the couple welcomed a baby boy, Ennis Howard Plemons, in May.

Tia Mowry and Cory Hardrict: Cairo Tiahna Hardrict

Tia Mowry-Hardrict gave birth to her second child with husband Cory Hardrict in May. The actress later shared the baby girl’s name, Cairo Tiahna Hardrict. Per People, the couple wanted her name to have the same initials — C.T.H. — as her big brother, Cree Taylor. Mowry explained that the baby’s name means “victorious” in this video she posted:

Jordin Sparks and Dana Isaiah: Dana Isaiah Thomas Jr.

Jordin Sparks became a mom in 2018, too, welcoming a baby boy named Dana Isaiah Thomas Jr. — DJ for short — in May. This marks the first child for Sparks and husband, Dana Isaiah. “My sweet boy” she wrote on this post of the little guy, and he does look awfully sweet:

Jamie Lynn Spears and Jamie Watson: Ivey Joan Watson

Jamie Lynn Spears gave birth to her first child with husband Jamie Watson, a baby girl named Ivey Joan, in April. Spears revealed that her middle name pays tribute to her late aunt. This is the second daughter for Spears, who is also mom to 10-year-old Maddie Aldridge. These sisters look like they’re getting along just fine in her post of Maddie holding the baby:

Dwayne Johnson and Lauren Hashian: Tiana Gia Johnson

“The Rock” welcomed his second baby with longtime girlfriend Lauren Hashian this spring. Tiana is the actor’s third child, following his first daughter with Hashian, Jasmine Lia, and his eldest daughter, Simone Alexandra, from his previous marriage to Dany Garcia.

The couple named their youngest daughter Tiana Gia Johnson, as he revealed on Instagram. “Blessed and proud to bring another strong girl into this world,” he wrote:

Eddie Redmayne and Hannah Bagshaw: Luke Richard Redmayne

Baby makes four for Eddie Redmayne and wife Hannah Bagshaw, who had their second child in March. They named the baby boy Luke Richard. He’s now little brother to the couple’s 1-year-old daughter, Iris Mary.

Aaron and Lauren Paul: Annabelle Paul

The “Breaking Bad” star and his wife Lauren welcomed their first child, a baby girl named Annabelle, in February. Lauren posted a photo of her and the newborn baby on Instagram.

Hillary Scott and Chris Tyrell: Emory Joan and Betsy Mack Tyrell

The country music star gave birth to twin daughters in late January. The twins mark the second and third child for the singer and husband Chris Tyrell. They welcomed their first daughter, Eisele, in 2013. “Our family is thankful and proud to announce the arrival of our precious baby girls,” Scott wrote of the happy arrival. In January, actress Jamie-Lynn Sigler and her husband, Cutter Dykstra, welcomed their second child, a baby boy named Jack Adam Dykstra. Jack has a big brother, Beau. Seth Meyers and wife Alexi Ashe welcomed their second child, Axel Strahl, in quite a memorable manner in April. Ashe gave birth to the baby boy in the lobby of their apartment building, as Meyers recounted on his show. Rachel McAdams and Jamie Linden: Baby Boy

Rachel McAdams also became a first-time mom this year. Although rumors that she and boyfriend Jamie Linden were expecting a baby surfaced in February, the actress never confirmed her pregnancy. She reportedly gave birth sometime this spring, and People reported she and Linden were spotted with a newborn baby in April. In September, People reported the baby was a boy after Linden was spotted carrying a newborn, but they still haven’t revealed his name.

John Stamos and Caitlin McHugh: Billy Stamos

John Stamos and wife Caitlin McHugh welcomed their first child, a son, in April. The couple named their little boy Billy, after Stamos’ late father. “From now on, the best part of me will always be my wife and my son. Welcome Billy Stamos (named after my father),” Stamos wrote while sharing the news on Instagram:

Robert Herjavec and Kym Johnson: Hudson Robert and Haven Mae Herjavec

The former “Dancing with the Stars” partners welcomed twins in April. Johnson took to her Instagram page to post a beautiful black-and-white photo of the proud papa holding his newborn babies. The little boy and girl are the couple’s first children together, although Herjavec has three adult children from his previous marriage.

Alec and Hilaria Baldwin: Romeo Alejandro David Baldwin

Alec and Hilaria Baldwin shared the news of their fourth child’s arrival in June. The Baldwins, who tied the knot in 2012, also have two other sons and a daughter. Baldwin also has a daughter, Ireland, with ex-wife Kim Basinger. “He’s here! He’s perfect! 8lbs 2oz #wegotthis2018,” Hilaria captioned a photo of the couple and their new baby boy. After announcing they were expecting their first child together in December, America Ferrera and husband Ryan Piers Williams welcomed their baby in May. Ferrera announced the baby’s arrival on Instagram alongside a photo of the baby’s foot. “Welcome Sebastian Piers Williams – aka Baz!” she wrote.

James Van Der Beek and Kimberly Brook: Gwendolyn Van Der Beek

The “Fixer Upper” stars were thrilled over the birth of their fifth child and third son, Crew, in June. Joanna Gaines revealed on Instagram that the little guy made “an unexpected (and speedy) entrance into the world two and a half weeks early.” His early arrival was “only “fitting because he was a sweet surprise from day one,” she wrote:

Like her royal older sister, Pippa Middleton gave birth to a baby boy on Oct. 15. She and husband James Matthews welcomed their first baby in October in the same hospital where her nephew Prince Louis was born earlier this year. The couple hasn’t announced the baby’s name yet.

Stephen and Ayesha Curry: Canon W. Jack Curry

Stephen and Ayesha Curry welcomed a son to their family in July. The couple named their baby boy, who is their third child together, Canon W. Jack Curry. The Food Network star marked the occasion with a sweet photo of the baby being held by his two older sisters, Riley and Ryan:

Cardi B and Offset: Kulture Kiari Cephus

Kenan Thompson and Christina Evangeline: Gianna Michelle Thompson

The “Saturday Night Live” star and wife Christina Evangeline welcomed their second child in early August. According to TMZ, daughter Gianna Michelle was born in Florida and weighed 6 pounds, 6 ounces. The couple welcomed their first daughter, Georgie Marie, in 2014.

Claire Danes and Hugh Darcy: Baby Boy

The notoriously private couple welcomed baby No. 2 in late August, USA Today reported. The actress gave birth in a New York City hospital. The duo already has a son, Cyrus Michael Christopher, who was born in 2012. No one has confirmed the new baby’s name, though.

John Oliver and Kate Norley: Baby Boy

John Oliver and wife Kate Norley welcomed another child, a baby boy, this summer, though the “Last Week Tonight” host didn’t talk about it until about 3 months later. The TV star confirmed the news to People after taking home a prize at the 2018 Emmys, though he did not confirm the baby’s name. This is the second son for Oliver and Norley.

Rachel Weisz and Daniel Craig: Baby Girl

The two actors welcomed a baby girl earlier this year, according to Us Weekly. The couple, who wed in 2011, have not publicly commented on the birth. Both are familiar with parenthood though, as each also has a child from previous relationships.

Rashida Jones and Ezra Koenig: Isaiah Jones Koenig

Rashida Jones secretly delivered her first child with musician Ezra Koenig in August. According to E! News, the couple named their baby boy Isaiah Jones Koenig. Jones has not publicly commented on the news.

Troian Bellisario and Patrick J. Adams: Baby Girl

“Pretty Little Liars” alum Troian Bellisario and husband Patrick J. Adams — who played Meghan Markle’s love interest on “Suits” — gushed over their first child, a baby girl, on social media shortly after her October birth. The couple introduced their new baby by posting a sweet photo of the newborn’s tiny hand on Instagram. Though they didn’t reveal their child’s name, they both expressed their gratitude for the people who “fought for and protected” their privacy throughout the pregnancy.

Lin-Manuel Miranda and Vanessa Nadal: Francisco Miranda

Lin-Manuel Miranda and wife Vanessa Nadal became proud new parents to their second child in February. Miranda announced on Twitter that the couple named the baby boy Francisco. This marks the pair’s second son, after first child, Sebastian.

Prince William and Kate Middleton: Louis Arthur Charles

The world rejoiced over the birth of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s third child, Louis Arthur Charles, in April. The baby was born at St. Mary’s Hospital in Paddington, London, the same hospital where Kate Middleton and Prince William welcomed their first two kids, Prince George and Princess Charlotte. Louis is now fifth in line to the British throne, after grandfather Prince Charles, father Prince William and his two siblings.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West: Chicago West

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West ushered in the start of a new year with their third child, a baby girl named Chicago. The couple welcomed the baby via surrogate on Jan. 15.

“We are incredibly grateful to our surrogate who made our dreams come true with the greatest gift one could give and to our wonderful doctors and nurses for their special care. North and Saint are especially thrilled to welcome their baby sister,” Kardashian wrote at the time. She posted this cute photo of Chicago when the baby was just about six weeks old:
