As if the idea of an oversized game controller wasn’t enough to blow your mind, the fact that this coffee table-sized controller is actually functional. What? Whoa.

My mind is experiencing some serious overload right about now because I’ve just never seen anything this insane/brilliant. If you’re a gamer, you’ve got to start saving your money right now so you can afford to buy this incredible piece of functional furniture.

Hey, even if you’re not a gamer, you might consider putting this in your home. Because you know what? It’s seriously that cool.

We have Etsy seller Bohemian Workbench to thank for this genius invention. The coffee table is made out of maple, mahogany and walnut. And it’s completely functional as an eight-bit Nintendo NES controller. But, the cord is retractable for those times when you’re not playing.

There’s also a glass top that can be added so you can, you know, set your coffee on this thing if you’d like to.

If you’re not into the Nintendo NES aspect, you can also shop other tables from the Etsy store. There’s one fashioned as a 16-bit retro controller model, as well.

Okay, so you won’t be able to hold the controller in your hands as you’re battling your virtual opponents if you choose to play on this table, but hey, it might be fun to test your gaming skills, you know?

If you can handle this, you can handle anything that comes your way.

Of course, this kind of serious commitment to gaming comes at a price. This table in particular will run you $6,000. And other options from the store range from $3,500 to $8,000.

So, just how into video games are you? Or perhaps the real question is, just how into furniture are you? If you find yourself extremely obsessed with one or the other, this could be the coffee table you never knew you needed!
