Here’s How To Build A Simple DIY Solar-Powered A/C From A Cooler

Youtube

With the summer time gearing up, it’s only going to get hotter. Well, one guy is on top of things and came up with a clever way to make a portable DIY air conditioner.  All you need is a cooler, a fan, and piece of PVC pipe.

According to the video, the cool air will last 5-10 hours if you freeze one large ice chunk.  In the video, he uses a big plastic bin to freeze a block of ice and then adds it into the cooler.

You can even go a step further and hook the fan up to a car charger or solar panel (15 watt / 1 amp) so you have more flexibility on where you can use it.

Enjoy your cool summer!
