Copycat Chick-Fil-A frosted lemonade is perfect for hot summer days

Chick-fil-A is known for their waffle fries, chicken nuggets and Polynesian sauce, but they are also famous for their lemonade! Chick-fil-A’s lemonade is the real deal, made with only real lemon juice, cane sugar and water — no additives or artificial flavors here.

No wonder it’s so loved by lemonade fans. But, Chick-fil-A took things to the next level when they introduced their frosted lemonade, a mouthwatering blend of their iconic lemonade with creamy vanilla soft-serve. (Calorie counters can opt for a lighter version by asking for a diet frosted lemonade; it’s made with vanilla ice cream and Chick-fil-A’s diet lemonade, which has Splenda instead of regular sugar).

And this summer, they’re even introducing a new flavor: Mango Passion Tea Lemonade, made with lemonade, iced tea and passionfruit and mango flavors.

Thanks to this copycat recipe from Let’s Dish, you can make your own Chick-fil-A frosted lemonade in the comfort (and safety!) of your own home. Why don a mask and brave a pandemic when you can make your favorite fast food treats at home?

To make this copycat Chick-fil-A recipe, you will need frozen lemonade concentrate, milk and condensed milk. You can also opt for toppings like whipped cream and a slice of lemon to add a pretty garnish for the rim of your glass. Find the full recipe here.

If you prefer, you can squeeze lemons yourself to make your own lemonade instead of using a concentrate. Here, Delish shows you how to make a copycat Chick-fil-A frosted lemonade recipe by using lemons, sugar, water and vanilla ice cream. Of course, this will be a bit more labor-intensive (and involve getting your hands sticky as you juice the lemons) but hey, what else is there to do this summer?

eHow takes a similar approach, but instead of using all cane sugar, they mix it up with some powdered sugar as well. They say works better for a blended drink like a frosted lemonade because it keeps the mix from separating.

Now, if we could only find an easy way to re-create Chick-fil-A’s waffle fries at home, we would be all set!
