Kid Accidentally Destroys A $15,000 LEGO Exhibit An Hour After Exhibit Opens

Boys will be boys. And unfortunately, they can sometimes be a little destructive if you aren’t watching them carefully.

Case in point, on Sunday, a young Chinese boy pushed over a giant fox LEGO figurine at the LEGO Expo in Ningbo, China. And worse, it happened within the first hour of the exhibit opening.

The artist had spent three days and nights meticulously bringing the fox to life, which was said to cost more than $15,000 (100,000 yuan). The parents were very apologetic over the accident and the artist was very understanding that these things happen.

Here’s what the LEGO exhibit looked like (pre accident).

And post accident…

If you’re looking for some challenging LEGO sets that could be as cool as building your own fox, check out these crazy (and expensive) collections. This Star Wars Millennium Falcon has over 5,000 pieces and would be harder for a child to knock over. 😉
