Chip and Joanna Gaines Are Opening A New Coffee Shop

HGTV

Another way to get your fill of Chip and Joanna Gaines is coming! The couple is breaking ground on a new coffee shop in March. So, you’ll be able to get your jolt of caffeine and a healthy dose of farmhouse style, all in one fell swoop.

Visiting this place will surely beat watching “Fixer Upper” re-runs while sipping a cup of coffee at your house — which is currently how you enjoy coffee and this home-renovating couple at the same time, right?

While this isn’t the first Gaines-family establishment — they’ve also opened the Magnolia Market Silos and the Magnolia Table restaurant — this will be their first coffee house, complete with a to-go window. (Because obviously, the couple’s thought of everything, and when it comes to coffee, the convenience of a to-go window is key.)

The shop will, of course, be located in Waco, Texas. A name and an official menu have yet to be announced, but the Waco Tribune reported that a representative for the couple said in addition to the to-go window, patrons at the new shop can expect fresh pastries, a selection of teas and a full-service coffee bar.

This follows the news of a collaboration between Joanna and Anthropologie, which includes luxe-looking rugs, pillows and more for your home — just another way for you to incorporate some of the Gaines’ effortless style into your life.

Even though the couple is no longer filming “Fixer Upper,” they’ve got five kids at home, several businesses to manage and plans for more. So this couple has no signs of slowing down. Not that we’d want them to!

When announcing the final season of “Fixer Upper,” the couple was open about their longing to spend more time with their family as their kids grow up. “This is just us recognizing that we need to catch our breath for a moment. Our plan is to take this time to shore up and strengthen the spots that are weak, rest the places that are tired and give lots of love and attention to both our family and our businesses,” they announced at the time.

But, given that they seem to have a true passion for what they do, they’ve found ways to incorporate their kids into what they do so they have the ultimate balance of work and play.

For example, Joanna recently announced a children’s book she wrote alongside her kids, telling the stories of their time spent in the garden:

“We wrote this children’s book together to tell the story of our journey in the garden – a story of trying and failing and trying again and never giving up. We hope it inspires you and your little ones to get outside, get your hands dirty, and grow something great,” the mom wrote on Instagram.

Shortly after their fifth child was born, the mom told People magazine that he was the “second wind” she needed. And they’re really enjoying this time in their lives. “We are just really enjoying this sweet season with a newborn and going to the office every day doing the things that we love.”

And if that includes opening a coffee shop, then so be it! Congrats to the happy family, and here’s to another successful business venture.
