Country music superstars Chris and Morgane Stapleton recently celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary, and they have two children together (a 6-year-old and an 8-year-old).

Not only do the couple make beautiful children together, but they also make beautiful music together. In fact, it was their shared love of music that attracted them to one another … along with Morgane’s fierce determination to land her man. The pair were both working in Nashville as songwriters, and it was not long before the handsome baritone-voiced musician caught Morgane’s eye.

“She was a stalker,” Chris jokingly told Paste magazine.

Morgane developed a crush on Chris, and she would hang out at her friend’s office at Sea Gayle Music in the hope that Chris would show up.

“We’d hear the jingle of his keys as he walked down the hall, and we knew he was coming to play us whatever new song he had written,” Morgane shared with The Washington Post. “Eventually he asked me to write a song with him, and that ended up being our first date. We didn’t get much writing done that night.”

The rest, of course, is history. But their love story continues. In fact, the pair has officially announced that they are expecting twins! Morgane made the news public on her Instagram page, playfully inserting the announcement alongside her anniversary message to her hubby:

14 years, 2 babies, & 2 more on the way. Happy 10 year anniversary babe! You make my whole world go round.

So sweet! Chris also slipped the news into a performance at the Starplex Pavilion in Dallas last Saturday night. He told the crowd (referring to Morgane, who was joining him onstage for a performance of his hit song “Tennessee Whiskey”), “She’s the mother of my two kids, and she’s about to be the mother of two more.”

Here’s wishing Morgane a beautiful, comfortable pregnancy … and lots of rest, ’cause they’re sure gonna need it with twins on the way!
