Chrissy Teigen and her husband, singer John Legend, are expecting another child.

In a post on Instagram, Teigen said she was reluctant to announce her pregnancy with a rainbow baby after losing her unborn baby nearly two years ago.

“Every appointment I’ve said to myself, ‘OK, if it’s healthy today, I’ll announce,’ but then I breathe a sigh of relief to hear a heartbeat and decide I’m just too nervous still.”

Teigen added that this pregnancy has been “perfect” and she’s feeling hopeful.

Later, Teigen also posted on Twitter, writing, “thank you for your kind messages today.”

Teigen, who is known for being candid on social media, shared much her emotional journey after the couple’s pregnancy loss in 2020 with her followers. She posted a photo of the tattoo she got to honor the son they lost, Jack, and shared the difficult relationship she had with her body following the loss, writing,”Even though I’m no longer pregnant, every glance in the mirror reminds me of what could have been. And I have no idea why I still have this bump, honestly. It’s frustrating.”

In February 2022, she shared on social media that she was undergoing IVF treatments.

The couple has two other children together, Luna, 6, and Miles, 4. They have been married since 2013.
