Chrissy Teigen and John Legend revealed their 3rd pregnancy in a music video

Prepare yourself for even more infant parenting gems from Chrissy Teigen.

The model and John Legend, her husband of nearly seven years, sneakily shared the exciting news that they’re expecting another child in a gorgeous music video for Legend’s new song, “Wild.” We say sneakily because the announcement was more of an Easter egg, ensuring that only eagle-eyed viewers would pick up on a subtle clue near the end of the video.

At around the 3:21 mark, you’ll catch a short glimpse of Legend standing behind Teigen. In the profile shot, she gently lays her hand on her belly. Immediately, fans of Legend and Teigen began to wonder if the “Wild” video was trying to tell the world something. Were the proud parents to 4-year-old Luna and 2-year-old Miles revealing that they are going to be welcoming a new addition to their family?

It seems so! Later, when Vevo tweeted about Legend’s new music video, it told fans to make sure and “watch for a beautiful surprise” in the video. Teigen herself retweeted the video, thereby giving credence to the rumors that “Wild” holds a secret pregnancy announcement.

Later, Teigen took a short video of her growing bump in her mirror, along with her signature colorful commentary, in which she mentioned her “third baby.” She posted it to Twitter where it has been viewed more than 7 million times.

This isn’t the first time that Teigen has taken on a starring role in her talented husband’s music videos.

In fact, the couple first met when Legend was looking for a model for his 2007 clip for “Stereo.” Not only was Teigen the perfect fit for the video, but they became inseparable almost immediately.

“We did the music video, we were together for like 12 hours,” Teigen said in a 2014 interview with Wendy Williams. “We spent the entire day together, me in my underwear and him in a full suit, and I went to go say goodbye to him, to his hotel and we didn’t ever say goodbye that night.”

In 2013, Legend fittingly asked Teigen to be in his video for “All of Me,” which is a song he wrote for her.
