Class Act: A Tennis Star Stopped His Australian Open Match To Help An Injured Ball Girl [Video]

People have a true love affair with Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and for good reason. During his easy straight set win over Omar Jasika (7-5, 6-1, 6-4), Tsonga noticed a ball girl was in some pain.  And being the gentlemen he is, he called a stop to the match to check on the young women.

Immediately after checking on her, he called to the chair umpire asking for medical help.

It’s great to see some high powered stars looking out for others and helping when they can.

Hats off to you Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and good luck in the rest of the tournament.

Update:  Tournament organizers said the young women was fine after the match.
