Most of us are familiar with the idea of paid vacation time—but not quite like this.
If you are looking at their career page to see if they have any openings right about now, I can’t say I blame you.
The idea of disconnecting is probably something we all dream about, so the chance to actually get paid to do that for work really seems amazing.
There are rules involved with this, of course. So, now you’re probably thinking “I knew there was a catch.” But, this isn’t a catch. See, the three rules are plain and simple. In order to receive the bonus, you have to go on vacation, you have to disconnect while on vacation and you have to not do any work while you are away.
That wasn’t so bad, now, was it?
“We live in a world where there’s so much technology right now, we’re just plugged in all of the time, ” Bart Lorang, CEO and co-founder of FullContact told the Huffington Post. “That has an impact on our brains in terms of how well we can actually experience creativity, joy and love and things of that nature. So it’s really important to unplug to become human again.”
