Target. Tarjay. Whatever you call it, there is no doubt that the mecca of one-stop shopping is a place we all love. Lauren and Corey Rexroad love the store so much, in fact, that they decided to retake their wedding photos there.
The West Virginia couple celebrated their one-year anniversary with the amazing Target photo shoot. A year ago on their special day something was missing. Lauren and Corey realized it wasn’t right not to incorporate their favorite store into the big day.
They recreated the day, with Corey putting on his suit and Lauren getting back into her gown. They even booked their original wedding photographer, Callie Lindsey.
Lauren came up with the idea and had to get her husband on board. She told ABC News that her husband was a little confused at the beginning, but thought the whole idea was hilarious.
“I told him, I’m going to try and get into my wedding dress and kind of recreate the day, but we’re going to go to Target,'” Rexroad said to ABC News. “And he liked looked at me like, ‘What?'”
How has no one ever thought of this genius idea? If you can’t actually have your wedding at your favorite store, go show your love for it by doing a photo shoot there. Their local Target was more than happy to help the couple with the photos.
Now, you might be asking, “Why Target?” Well, have you seen all the great things Target has to offer?? You can get a new wardrobe, dinner and some lovely throw pillows all in one place! The Rexroads apparently spend a lot of time there.
“There’s not a lot to do in Morgantown,” Lauren told ABC News.
