This Couple Took Engagement Photos At Costco – And They’re Hilarious

Imgur

Having gotten married a few years ago, I am well aware of the pressure put on couples to make every moment of the courtship, wedding ceremony and reception just magical.

From the ring, to the cake, to dress and more, engagement photos are just one more thing to add to the list. My husband and I kept ours super simple. Instead of going for fancy expensive ones, we ordered a big batch from Walmart’s photo lab, hand wrote the addresses and (gasp) slapped on our own labels (it was the only thing that came in under-budget, by the way). And everyone loved them.

So when I stumbled across this couple’s wedding photos, I had to share. If we lived in the same city, we’d probably be best friends.

Karrine Tarshish and fiancé, Dan Klamet decided to get their engagement photos taken at the superstore chain, Costco. Tarshish wrote on her Reddit post, “I thought it would be funny to have pictures of us doing really mundane things, and then decided it would be better to romanticize those mundane things.”

She goes on to add that their photographer offered to take the photos for free and because they both really like Costco, so why not have a little fun with it?
