It’s officially the holiday season and that means it’s time for Hallmark movies, ugly sweaters, sweet treats and, of course, Christmas music.

This year, Cracker Barrel Old Country Store is taking the sounds of the season even further by presenting a concert with country music superstar Carrie Underwood. The family-friendly event will also feature Maddie & Tae and Runaway June, who were with Underwood on her Cry Pretty Tour 360 last year.

Cracker Barrel Sounds of the Season” will debut on Cracker Barrel’s YouTube and Facebook pages on Wednesday, Dec. 16 at 8 p.m. ET and then will continue to be available online throughout the holiday season. You can see a sneak peek of the special on Cracker Barrel’s YouTube Channel now:

Along with performances from the country music artists, the special will also include conversations and holiday games that show how the performers are continuing their favorite traditions with their families this year.

Underwood will be performing songs from her first-ever Christmas album, “My Gift,” which is in stores now, including at Cracker Barrel and online. The album, which was released this September, includes new songs co-written by Underwood, plus classics like “O Holy Night” and “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.”

“Being a part of this special collaboration with Cracker Barrel and my friends, Maddie & Tae and Runaway June, is a fun way to celebrate the holiday season,” Underwood said in a press release. “Music lifts spirits and is a big part of our holiday traditions, which are as important as ever this year.”

Underwood has another Christmas TV special this year, this one coming to HBO Max on Dec. 3. “My Gift: A Christmas Special from Carrie Underwood” will include songs from the American Idol winner’s new Christmas album, plus other holiday favorites.

Country stars Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood are also hosting a free holiday concert you can watch at home on CBS. The special will begin at 8:30 p.m. ET on Dec. 20. If you want to submit song requests, you can do so on Brooks’ Facebook page.

If you’re looking for a televised holiday musical show that’s not so country-music-centric, check out Mariah Carey’s TV special debuting on Apple TV+ on Dec. 4. Carey collaborated with Ariana Grande and Jennifer Hudson on a new Christmas song, “Oh Santa!”, which will be part of the soundtrack for “Mariah Carey’s Magical Christmas Special.”

“Let’s get festive!!!” Carey wrote on Twitter, along with the glittery poster for the holiday special.

Will you be tuning in for any of these Christmas specials this year?
