This will become something you’ll gladly serve the entire family, and we have a feeling there will be no complaints about it whatsoever.

All you need to make this untraditional take on tacos is a can of Pillsbury Crescent rolls, ground beef, taco seasoning, salsa, cheese and your favorite taco toppings.

Start by spreading the Crescent rolls along a circular dish until the bottom is completely covered. From there, place a mixture of browned ground beef, taco seasoning and salsa on top of the Crescent roll dougha. Then, top with cheese, and pop it in the oven to bake.

Once the rolls finish cooking and the cheese becomes nice and melty, you can add lettuce, sour cream, guacamole or whatever taco toppings you please. Slice and devour.

This video from the Pillsbury YouTube channel will walk you through the process of making this for dinner, step-by-step:

If you’re serving a large crowd and a circular pie dish won’t quite make the cut when it comes to keeping everyone fed, you can try making this taco bake in casserole form, too.

This recipe from Lil’ Luna calls for a biscuit base. So, you’ll still get the desired pie-like effect and have enough for everyone who wants seconds. This time around, instead of Crescent rolls, you can use a biscuit baking mix combined with eggs and milk to help you achieve the flakey-crust effect.

To make this version of the taco bake, simply cook the ground beef over medium heat, drain and add the taco seasoning. Spread the meat on the bottom of a 9×13 pan.

Beat the eggs, milk, biscuit mix and pepper until well combined and pour over ground beef. Bake at 400° for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.

Let it cool for a few minutes, and then spread on sour cream. Top with your desired toppings (we do lettuce, tomato, cheese and olives) and ENJOY!

You can also take your new obsession for taco pie just a step further by adding a little bit of crunch to perfectly top off the dish.

This recipe from The Farm Wife Cooks still calls for cooking up ground beef with taco seasoning (as you normally would) and layering it with cheese, sour cream and the crescent roll crust. But it also adds an extra twist.

Before popping the casserole in the oven, make sure to add a layer of crushed Doritos on top. Once it bakes for at least 30 minutes, feel free to garnish as desired and serve.

The end result looks absolutely delicious!

And the best part: You can swap out various ingredients based on your preferences — tortillas can take place of Doritos, ground turkey can take place of ground beef, etc.

Guess we all know what’s for dinner tonight!
