The most important thing is to make sure you have a heatproof glass or ceramic bowl that can fit inside your slow cooker. You’ll assemble the cheesecake in the bowl, and then put it inside slow cooker filled with water. Now, you need to add enough water to reach to about the middle of the bowl. But, be careful—you don’t to get your cheesecake wet!

Then, as they say, set it and forget it. In two to three hours you will have delicious, creamy cheesecake awaiting you.

Best of all, this recipe is so easy to modify any way you desire! For example, let’s say you want a key lime cheesecake. Well, just add in lime zest and lime juice to your cheese mixture. Get fancy with and use coconut macroon crumbs for the crust instead of graham crackers.

Or what about something seasonal like pumpkin cheesecake? Just add pumpkin pie puree and pumpkin pie spice to your cream cheese mixture! And, again, you don’t have to stick with graham crackers. How about gingerbread snap cookies as the perfect holiday-themed crust?
