Dad Sweetly Surprises Son After Letting Him Think He Forgot His Birthday

The worst thing you could ever do is forget your child’s birthday, right? Well, not exactly.

If you play it off like this father did, “forgetting” a birthday can turn into a very sweet moment for both you and your little one.

Thanks to Bleacher Report, there’s a video circulating of a father, Bra Fowler, acting as though he doesn’t know its his son’s birthday. His son is obviously upset and gets into the car with his father after a baseball game, hardly speaking to him.

Then, his dad tells him to open up the trunk of the car. There, he finds a brand new baseball bat waiting for him. Tears are immediately brought to the son’s eyes. And believe me— your eyes will well up, too.

Because there’s not a dry eye in the house after watching this touching moment.

See what I mean? “Forgetting” a birthday isn’t the end of the world. As long as you immediately recover from it, that is. You’ve definitely got to have a plan in action, and this father had just that. I’m just so glad he caught it all on camera!

Such a sweet moment between a father and son. It really is a bond like no other, isn’t it?
