Broadway fans, rejoice: The 1992 film “Death Becomes Her” is currently being adapted into a Broadway musical. Universal Theatrical Group announced the news on Wednesday, but details—other than who will be playing its leading lady—have been pretty slim so far.

A spokesperson for the theatrical group told Playbill that no creative team has been put together yet, so fans will simply have to wait to find out who the director, writer and composer of the Broadway show will be. But what we do know is that with Tony-winning singer and actress Kristin Chenoweth set to play the lead role (played by Meryl Streep in the movie).

It seems that Chenoweth is definitely excited about her latest project: “These are the moments that make life worth living!” Chenoweth tweeted on Wednesday. “I’m so excited to announce Death Becomes Her! It’s so cool to be included every step of the way.”

Chenoweth’s singing and acting talent has already snagged her multiple awards, including a Tony and an Emmy, in the last few years. She’s also already a Broadway pro, having starred in Wicked just last year with Idina Menzel, and she’s starred on screen in “Glee,” “Pushing Daisies” and “American Gods.”

While we may not know more yet, fans can get ready for the Broadway musical by rewatching “Death Becomes Her,” which originally starred Meryl Streep, Goldie Hawn, and Bruce Willis. Check out the trailer below:

It’s been over two decades since “Death Becomes Her” first took over screens, but the dark comedy is still beloved by fans. It follows a Broadway actress’ quest to remain young, and includes a fight over a man (of course), a push down the stairs (of course) and some seriously undead hijinx.

No word yet on when the musical will hit Broadway, but with the hilarity of the original movie and the star talent of Chenowith on board, it’ll definitely be one worth seeing!
