Pringles is adding to their variety of unique potato chip flavors, which include everything from Parmesan & Roasted Garlic to Rotisserie Chicken. This brand new flavor is sure to be perfect for summer: Deep Fried Pickle!
The new Pringles Wavy chip brings the flavor of a batter-coated dill pickle into a crispy potato chip you can take on the go or enjoy with your lunch. Pringles says each bite packs dill-pickle tanginess and savory-fried satisfaction. The chips are hitting shelves now, but only at Dollar General stores and only for a limited time. While the brand doesn’t say how long we can expect them to be around, it is only until supplies last, so you’ll want to hurry and try them while you can!
Pringles suggests pairing the chip with some other flavors for a Pringles Flavor Stack. Their suggestion? Fried Pickle Cheesy Ranch — a combination of Pringles Wavy Deep Fried Pickle, Pringles Cheddar Cheese and Pringles Ranch. Yum!
While a first for Wavy Pringles, there is already a Screamin’ Dill Pickle Pringles flavor — and a handful of pickle-flavored potato chips in stores. Lay’s had Fried Pickles with Ranch chips and Flamin’ Hot Dill Pickle chips, and Doritos even made a pickle-flavored version of their tortilla chip.
You can also find a variety of pickle-flavored dips for all your plain-flavored chips, like fried pickle and ranch dip at Sam’s Club and dill pickle-flavored hummus from Trader Joe’s. You can also get pickle-flavored salsa from Grillo’s or Mt. Olive.
Vlasic even says they will be making dill pickle chips, which are exactly what they sound like: pickles! That means if you’re following a keto diet or just looking for a low-calorie snack, these chips are a much better choice than actual potato chips.
You’ll find a variety of other pickle-flavored treats on the market as well, including everything from Slim Jims and nuts to whiskey, popcorn and even cheesecake.
