If you’re a Disney fan, you’re probably already well aware that Mickey Mouse turned 90 years old this year. Not only was there a TV special dedicated to Mickey’s special day, but you can even buy new shoes, apparel and Oreo cookies in honor of the occasion.

Now, there’s one more way to celebrate the milestone birthday and this one is not only fun, but also gives back to other Disney fans. For the third year in a row, from Nov. 4-17, Disney will donate $5 to Make-A-Wish (up to $2 million) for each photo shared to social media that shows off Mickey Mouse ears.

You do not need to buy Mickey Mouse ears to participate — simply head to your local Disney store to decorate a pair of paper ears or make a pair yourself using things around the house, like apples, vinyl records or cinnamon rolls!

After you’ve figured out what your “ears” will be, all you do is snap a photo and post it to Facebook, Instagram or Twitter with the hashtag #ShareYour Ears and your donation will be made. Just make sure your photo is set to “public” or Disney won’t be able to see it.

The Make-A-Wish organization works to grant the wishes of children diagnosed with a critical illness and Disney has been a part of fulfilling these wishes since 1980, when the company participated in the first official wish. Since then, they have helped grant more than 130,000 wishes.

“It is a tremendous honor to support children whose wish is to come to Disney. Wish granting exemplifies the magic our 160,000 cast members and Imagineers create for guests all over the world every day,” Bob Chapek, chairman of Disney Parks, experiences and consumer products said in a press release. “With this third Share Your Ears campaign, we’ll get to make a difference in the lives of even more children and families.”

Will you be “sharing your ears” to help grant a child’s wish?
