Disney just released rose gold Minnie Mouse ears

What happens when you combined a set of bedazzled Minnie Mouse ears with the hot shade rose gold? A social media bonanza, that’s what!

Apparently Disney started selling rose gold sequined Minnie ears at Disney parks’ gift shops sometime within the past few days. There was no formal announcement, and no fanfare, but within hours Disney guests and bloggers had tracked down the instantly-iconic ears and were sharing them across social media.

One of the best shots comes from Disney fashion blogger Chelsea Watson of Styled by Magic. How cute do those shimmery ears look against the backdrop of the iconic Cinderella castle?

The excited Instagrammers report that the sparkly accessories are even more gorgeous in person. As Disney blog Tangled In Magic reports, “They are nice and slim and easy to wear.”

According to the Disney Style blog, the release of the rose gold Minnie ears comes at the perfect time, because “We needed to restock our ears closet with a new sequined style and these will certainly fit right in. They sparkle in the sunlight with a sequined base and a metallic bow, created to make your Instagram dreams come true.”

The rose gold trend skyrocketed to prominence last year when the metallic pink hue suddenly became the must-have shade of everything from makeup to iPhones to hair. Pantone even chose rose quartz as one of its colors of the year for 2016.

Since then, it’s showed no signs of slowing down, as the widespread excitement over these shiny pink mouse ears illustrates. Luckily for those on both sides of the country, the trendy ears are available at both Disneyland and Disney World parks.
