You Can Now Get ‘Star Wars’ Lightsaber Churros At Disneyland

First Comes Latte/Facebook

I previously believed that Disneyland, “Star Wars” and churros couldn’t get any better than they already were—each is a classic in its own right. But, apparently I was mistaken. Now that Disneyland is serving up “Star Wars”-inspired lightsaber churros, well, all three have just been elevated in my mind.

That’s right. Red and blue churros that are oddly reminiscent of the light-up swords are now being sold by a churro cart located outside of the Star Tours ride in Disneyland’s Tomorrowland.

These were obviously a huge hit for the unofficial “Star Wars” holiday, May the 4th, but based on the buzz these sugary treats are receiving all over social media, I can’t imagine you’ll be seeing them leave anytime soon. Park guests are having a great time facing off as their favorite Jedis and Siths in epically delicious battles between good and evil. Who wouldn’t want to get their hands on one?

Now, let’s take a closer look at these tasty treats. Beyond covering the churros in sparkly red and blue sugar, Disneyland also took it a step further by adding edible star confetti to the mix for an even more out-of-this-world experience.

Lucky for you, you don’t actually have to travel to a galaxy far, far away to arm yourself with one of these unique sweets. Instead, you just have to pay a visit to Disneyland. And lucky for you, it is “Season of the Force,” with countless “Star Wars”-themed experiences to be had at the park.

Disney is offering a special package starting at $97 for a one-day value ticket where you can really geek out on all things “Star Wars.” Visit Star Wars Launch Bay, Hyperspace Mountain and more.

This isn’t the first time Disneyland has come out with special-edition churros. In March they released special gold-dusted churros to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the iconic Pirates of the Caribbean ride.
