Disney fans, rejoice: the first trailer for the new Disney princess movie “Moana” is here, and you’re going to fall in love with the Polynesian princess. According to the filmmakers, Moana, a young navigator, has a spirit similar to Merida from “Brave” and Elsa from “Frozen.” She sets off on a journey to look for a legendary island in the region of Oceania, and she will be accompanied by her pet pig and rooster (so cute!).
The film stars Auli’i Cravalho, who voices Moana, and Dwayne Johnson, as the voice of Maui, the legendary demi-god who also sets off with Moana on her journey. The movie won’t be out until November 2016, but you can continue to revel in the trailer until then.
And if you’re not amply excited yet, the Lin-Manuel Miranda wrote some of the music, which was arranged by the same guy who arranged songs for “The Lion King.”
