This Woman Let Her Dog Pick Out A Shelter Kitten To Take Home

From Lubbock, Texas, comes a sweet tale—or rather, tail—of friendship: Raven, a Tamaskan Husky, was tasked with finding the perfect kitten friend for herself and her owner, Christina. At the shelter, Raven met four different kittens and none of them was right… until she met Woodhouse.

Christina, Raven’s owner, wanted to rescue a kitten about a month after she got Raven.

“I had always wanted a dog and a cat to grow up together. It’s been like a life goal,” she told The Dodo. “I wanted them to be able to get along well,” Christina explained. “So I wanted her to actually meet the cat and have the cat get along with the dog as well.”

Well, she got her wish: Raven and Woodhouse are inseparable. According to their Instagram account (@raven_and_woodhouse), they eat together, nap together and even play tag around the house.

Let this interspecies friendship be a lesson to us all.
