“Duck Dynasty” daughter Sadie Robertson Huff is a new mom!

Sadie and her husband, Christian Huff, used social media to announce the birth of their baby daughter, Honey James, born on May 11.

“We saw a million little miracles yesterday — the best one being this girl right here … Honey the pure goodness of God,” Robertson Huff tweeted, along with a photo of the proud parents holding their daughter in the hospital.

Sadie’s mom, Korie Robertson, shared her own joy on being at her granddaughter’s birth in an Instagram post, with photos of herself with the new parents and grandbaby.

“The experience of watching your daughter give birth to her daughter … well, there are no words,” Korie wrote. “Honey James Huff you are a little miracle! We love you dearly and can’t get enough of every single detail of you. Your mom is absolutely, utterly amazing, and your dad is simply the best coach and encourager ever!”

Robertson Huff had regularly shared information about her pregnancy online, including this tweet the day before she delivered Baby Honey.

“Cheers to the rest of my life loving you two with everything in me. grateful,” she tweeted along with a photo of her and her husband Christian in mid-embrace, Sadie’s third-trimester belly showing.

Sadie Robertson Huff is the second-eldest of Willie and Korie Robertson’s five children. Dad Willie is the CEO of Duck Commander (a business that makes products for duck hunters) and one of the stars of the popular reality TV show “Duck Dynasty,” which focuses on his quirky Southern family and their successful duck call business. Sadie grew up on the show, which aired between 2012 and 2017.

She has since competed on “Dancing with the Stars,” started an acting career and written books. She also hosts a regular podcast and is a regular on the Christian speaking circuit.

Sadie and Christian got married on November 25, 2019, and she shared a photo of the two in bridal attire the next day.

A little less than a year later, the couple announced they were expecting their first child. They also made a video about finding out Sadie was pregnant, which they had been open to but still found to be a surprising development.

“Screaming with excitement to share this news,” Robertson Huff tweeted. “Baby we already adore you.”

Sadie and Christian also announced the sex of their child — a girl — on Nov. 9, 2020, with Sadie tweeting that she “still can’t get over” finding out she was having a baby girl.

Robertson Huff later shared on Instagram why she and Christian picked the name Honey for their daughter. The baby is named after a passage in the Book of Proverbs in the Bible: “Gracious words are like honey, sweetness to the soul and health to the body.”

“I’ve always loved this verse. It’s made me have a love for the idea of all that honey is. It’s a sweet delicacy with a strong healing component,” Sadie said, adding that the word “honey” was one that she and Christian connected with while they were first dating.

In addition, she said it reminds her of her great-grandmother “who calls everyone she loves honey.”

Sadie isn’t the only Robertson having babies lately. Her older brother John Luke and his wife, Mary Kate, had their daughter, Ella Kathryn, on April 8. Sadie shared a photo of the two girl cousins together in an Instagram Story on the new Instagram page set up for baby Honey James.

Congratulations to the Robertsons and Huffs on the birth of Baby Honey!
