# Puzzle time: Can you find the fish among these octopuses?

Let’s go fishing, folks!

For today’s puzzle we go under the sea, where Twitter user Dudolf, also known in real life as author Gergely Dudas, put up this underwater expedition.

This is a tough one, so we’ll give you some time to ponder it. And no, octopuses are not fish, they are cephalopods (and also escape artists, as evidenced in the video below).

And no, a starfish is also not a fish.

(By the way, if you enjoy this puzzle, you will want to check out Dudas’ website, as he has two books out that are a collection of similar puzzles!)

Here you go — can you find the fish in this sea of octopuses?

So think you’ve found the fish?

No?

I’ll give you a few hints: The fish is also red, and you should check the left side of the photo. Oh, and you can’t see the entire fish.

It’s definitely a tough one to spot.

OK, still can’t get it?

Well, here is the answer:

You can see the fish, which has the same coloring and eyes of the octopuses, peeking out from behind an octopus.

Tricky, right?

## Which Letter Is Not In Any U.S. State Name?

Here’s a fun brain puzzle: Can you name the one letter in the alphabet that doesn’t appear in any of the names of the 50 United States? I’ll give you a minute.

Got an idea? If you’re like me, you guessed J. And you’d be close — the letter J actually appears in only one state name: New Jersey.

Another Simplemost staffer guessed X out of the gate.

But that’s not right because:

TEXAS.

And New Mexico.
