Dyson Invents A Quiet Hair Dryer That’s Pretty Amazing (And Expensive)

You wouldn’t think that it would take a company known for its vacuums to design the perfect blow dryer, but that’s exactly what it’s come to. Dyson has created a top of the line hair dryer that is unlike any other on the market.

According to the website, the company “considered every function and feature” when designing this product— and when you hear about what this baby can do, you’ll know that’s true.

Not only does this have a super portable, lightweight design, it also comes without all of the noise. That’s right. The most annoying part of the blow drying process has now been eliminated.

And if that wasn’t enough to convince you that this really is a blow dryer of the future, if you will, then when you find out that “a thermostat will measure air temperature 20 times a second to keep the temperature consistent,” as Mashable puts it, then you really will start believing that this thing practically has magical powers. Because as far as I’m concerned, it does.

You may also be thinking that a piece of technology this innovative will cost you, and in that case, you’d be right. The Dyson Supersonic will retail at $399 and is expected to launch in September 2016.

So, the choice is yours. Upgrade your blow drying experience or save a little cash. I’ll let you decide what’s more important, but before you scoff at the high price just think of the sweet sound of silence as you dry your hair. That, my friends, might actually be priceless.
