How To Earn $332 By Downloading 4 Apps

These days, every little bit of money earned helps.  So when I came across a few apps where you earn money for doing little-to-no work, I was pretty excited.  All four of these programs are through established and trusted companies with a good reputation.

As a fair warning, some of these require you to share your web browsing habits or location.  It’s all anonymous, but if that concerns you, then make sure you to read the fine print before signing up.

1. Google Screenwise Panel:  $162 / year

The Google Screenwise Panel is designed to help Google better understand web and mobile usage.  This includes what time of day people browse, the type of sites that are popular, and how long people visit websites and use apps.

After you signup, you will install a browser extension and/or a mobile tracker that will share your browsing and usage data with Google. Google promises it won’t impact your battery or interfere in anything you do.

You get $6 for signing up and then $3 for each week you keep the service installed on all of your devices.  That equates to $162 / year.  Not too shabby.

2. Ibotta:  10$ (plus additional savings)

We previously talked about Ibotta in an earlier post on ways to earn money $100 / month while grocery shopping.  Ibotta is a new app in which you scan your grocery receipts and you then earn cash by buying participating products.

When you sign-up and redeem your first rebate, you get $10 for free.  Plus, for every friend you refer, you get $5 and they get $10. So if you share with a few friends and family members, you could make a some additional quick cash.

Another service similar to Ibotta is Checkout51.   I recommend checking that out too.

3. Nielsen Mobile Panel for iPhone Users:   $50 / year

Nielsen is a respected company known for tracking what people watch on TV as well as what people are buying at grocery stores.  They also want to know how you are using your phone (what websites people visit and what apps people use).

From Nielsen’s website:

In order for us to report accurate data to the mobile industry, we use Nielsen’s proprietary applications and profiles to measure the normal activity of your phone, tablet, or other mobile device. All data transmitted is encrypted and anonymous. All you have to do is download the Nielsen Mobile App or install our profile, depending on your device, and then continue using your mobile device as you usually do – that’s it! The Nielsen Mobile software is undetectable and will not affect your device’s performance or battery life.

To get started, go here and sign-up.  You will be given instructions on how to download and install the app.  You will receive $50 for just keeping the app installed on your phone.

4. Verto Smart Panel:   $110 / year

Similar to Nielsen, the Verto Smart Panel will pay you $5 after you qualify plus $5 / month to have their app installed on your devices.   They also provide quarterly bonuses for keeping the app installed.  Including the quarterly bonuses, you can make a total of $110 in a year.  It will run in the background and report the anonymous usage back.

Here’s how they describe in on our their website:

The Smart Panel is a group of people helping to improve your favorite web sites, mobile apps, media, and technology. It’s an ongoing market research project, run by Verto Analytics, that asks you to provide anonymous information about how you use the internet. That info is then aggregated and analyzed to help companies understand how to give you a better online experience.

So there you have it.  Installing four apps can generate you an additional $332.  Again, if you are unsure about sharing your data anonymously, then maybe some of these aren’t right for you.
