If traveling in style is one of your New Year’s resolutions, you’re going to want to check out these rugged-yet-luxurious RVs. Think: sleek, long countertops in a full kitchen, the great outdoors just beyond your doorstep, and a rain water shower to rinse off in when you return from your adventures.

Road-tripping isn’t usually so glam — especially off-road road-tripping. Nor is it so expensive: This dreamy vehicle, the EarthRoamer XV-HD, starts at $1.7 million.

Hey, travel inspiration is always welcome, even the unattainable kind!

The XV-HD is built on a four-wheel drive Ford F-750 chassis and sleeps six people. Just look at this RV eye candy on EarthRoamer’s Instagram. Can you imagine taking your next family camping trip in this?

EarthRoamer is known for its luxury four-wheel drive campers and trucks that bring style and top-of-the-line features to the interior. The company has created a range of luxury expedition vehicles, and though they’re not all as expensive as the XV-HD, they aren’t exactly cheap: for example, the XV-LTS starts at $438,000, according to Curbed.

The XV-HD, though, is extra luxe. This kitchen sure beats busting out your camping stove on a picnic bench.

The XV-HD is custom-made to fit the individual’s needs. However, each one has a diesel turbo engine, a vacuum-infused, molded-composite camper body and massive fuel and water tanks for long-range trips: The XV-HD can hold 115 gallons of diesel and 250 gallons of fresh water.

The vehicle also has a solar array for 2,100 watts of solar power and has a 20,000 watt hour battery bank.

Inside the vehicle, there is a king-size mattress in a lofted bedroom (the steps that lead up to it have drawers for extra storage) and a dining room that can convert to more sleeping quarters for additional guests.

In the spacious kitchen, there is a three-burner induction cooktop, Bosch microwave/convection oven, fridge, a washer/dryer and a large counter with a stainless steel sink. And there’s plenty of comfortable seating.

Cozy! All of this, plus in-floor radiant heat and the full-size shower, remove all of the roughing it from camping, no matter where you’ve parked the RV.

But if you’re not the customer for this top-of-the-line vehicle, you can try adding a tent like iKamper’s rooftop tent to the top of your car.

Or you can always go old school and take your tent outside!
