This easy pineapple cream cheese danish won’t last long once you make it

Great Grub, Delicious Treats

Sometimes the sweet tooth kicks in at breakfast time. If you’re looking to indulge in something special in the morning, then maybe it’s time to dine on some yummy danish.

With the summer season right around the corner, pineapple cream cheese danish sounds so satisfying. But, instead of going to the store and grabbing a box from the bakery, you can easily make your own. Get ready to bake this bundle of breakfast bliss courtesy of Great Grub, Delicious Treats.

Danishes may look too delicious and complex to make at home, but this recipe is so simple, you can have it on the table in less than an hour. Talk about the perfect, quick recipe for a weekend breakfast.

The base of this pineapple cream cheese danish is refrigerated croissant dough — no dragging out the flour and all that messy stuff. The most complicated part of the recipe is taking the dough out of its packaging, separating it along the perforated triangles and then arranging them on the baking sheet into a circle.

The other ingredients you need are cream cheese (of course!), pineapple and pineapple juice, two kinds of sugar, vanilla and an egg. That’s it! It doesn’t get much easier than that.

The recipe creator recommends using fresh pineapple to get the best flavor and texture out of your filled pastry, but if you have canned on hand, that’ll work, too.

Since refrigerated croissant dough makes things so easy, why stop here? Melissa’s Southern Style Kitchen puts a tropical twist on pop-a-can homemade pastries with her recipe for a pineapple coconut Crescent braid, and it looks amazing.

This recipe calls for making a cream cheese and pineapple layer and a sweet-and-creamy coconut layer to braid the Pillsbury Crescent dough around before you place it in the oven. The end result makes it look like you spent all day in the kitchen, even though it requires minimal prep work.

This might be the best part: If you have any pineapple left over from these recipes, you can use the rest for homemade popsicles. Enjoy!
