Eddie Murphy is expecting his 10th child
Congratulations are in order for legendary actor Eddie Murphy! The veteran comedian is expecting his 10th child, and second with his longtime partner, Paige Butcher.
News of Butcher’s pregnancy first broke after the 39-year-old Australian model was photographed wearing a floral maxi dress that showed off her growing baby bump. A representative for Murphy confirmed in a statement that the two lovebirds, who have been together since 2012, are expecting their second child, due in December.
Murphy and Butcher already share a daughter, 2-year-old Izzy Oona.
The 57-year-old actor is also father to eight other children from four other previous relationships. He shares five kids with ex-wife Nicole Mitchell Murphy: son Miles Mitchell, 25, and daughters Bella Zahra, 16, Zola Ivy, 18, Shayne Audra, 23, and Bria, 28.
Bria shared this photo of the family around Christmas 2016:

Murphy had his oldest son, Eric, 29, with his ex, Paulette McNeely, and he shares a 27-year-old son, Christian, with Tamara Hood.
He also has an 11-year-old daughter, Angel Iris, with Mel B of Spice Girls and “America’s Got Talent” fame. Here’s a photo of Mel B with Angel Iris (as well as her other children):
Daughter Shayne Audra shared this photo of the blended family this past Christmas. You can see little Izzy Oona (being held by Butcher) is getting bigger. She should be ready for a younger sibling by the time the new baby arrives in December!

And Murphy’s love for his children runs deep. In November 2016, while supporting daughter Bria at her Los Angeles art exhibit, the actor said of his kids, according to People, “I really got lucky with my kids. There really isn’t a bad one in the bunch, everyone turned out to be really good people.”
“None of my kids are like me, and I’m sure parents say this all of the time, they are all totally different from each other,” Murphy added at the time. “None of them are chips off the old block. They all have their own thing. They’re good kids.”
Congrats to Murphy and his growing family!
