Eggnog vodka now exists to make your holidays even better

Personally, as soon as eggnog hits the shelves, I immediately buy it to add to my morning coffee, to eat with dessert, to drink on its own as a treat or to drink spiked when I’m looking for a festive cocktail. That said, I’m well aware of how unhealthy the spiced, creamy beverage is (not that this stops me from indulging). Well, for all you nog lovers, Three Olives Vodka (the brand responsible for rosé, cake, watermelon and other unique flavors of vodka) just released a new flavor, perfect for the holiday season: eggnog.

Three Olives Vodka

According to their site, it tastes of whipping cream and bakery spices — like allspice and cinnamon — and also contains undertones of orange peel and caramel. With a “light woody clove and vanilla pod” finish, not only does this libation sound delicious, but guess what? It’s much less calorie-laden than traditional eggnog. According to USDA data, a cup of eggnog has around 210 calories, 20 grams of sugar and about 11 grams of fat. One shot of eggnog-flavored Three Olives Vodka? Only 105 calories.

For an easy cocktail, the brand suggests mixing two parts vodka with one part half and half, with a touch of honey. You could also lessen the calories by mixing it with milk or even a dairy substitute.

Other ways to sip on eggnog vodka? Blogger Port and Fin stirs up a delicious eggnog White Russian with coffee liqueur.

And the comforting, sweet and decadent homemade salted caramel eggnog by blogger The Cookie Rookie, with caramel syrup and spices, would also pair well with the vodka.

If you’re looking to avoid straight nog, you can even try spiking your hot cocoa with it.

This new festive vodka is available nationwide and sells at $17.99 for a 750-mL bottle. Find out where to buy it on Three Olives’ website.
