For both parents and kids, bedtime is often the most dreaded part of the day. If you’re among the many parents who struggle with getting your little ones to sleep, “Sesame Street” is debuting a new show that aims to make bedtime more enjoyable for everyone.

Hosted by everyone’s favorite furry red puppet, “The Not-Too-Late Show With Elmo” is a nighttime talk show series that will feature celebrity guests, a house band and fellow “Sesame Street” pals as the crew — including Cookie Monster as a sidekick!

“At a time when individual viewing has become the norm, ‘The Not-Too-Late Show with Elmo’ offers a shared experience that has something for everyone,” executive producer Ben Lehmann said in a press release.

“Young children will love seeing their ‘Sesame Street’ friends in a new way, the madcap backstage humor will keep older kids engaged and adults will get a kick out of seeing their favorite celebrities at play.”

Premiering on HBO Max on May 27, the 13-episode series will discuss bedtime routines and feature games like tricycle races and teddy bear dress-up contests.

Some guests include fellow late-night hosts Jimmy Fallon and John Oliver, comedian John Mullaney, Batman and musical acts like The Jonas Brothers, who will put their own spin on beloved “Sesame Street” songs.

The first three episodes will be available May 27, with new episodes every Thursday beginning June 4. A special preview will air on Sesame Street’s YouTube channel on May 21.

Since the series is on a streaming service, you can watch any time after an episode airs. But as for Elmo, he says in the trailer below that his bedtime is 7:30 p.m.

“Parents might not recognize all the teachable moments in simple routines, like putting on pajamas and reading a story or watching a television show together,” Dr. Rosemarie Truglio, Sesame Workshop’s senior vice president of curriculum and content, said in the press release. “But especially now, when kids’ everyday lives have been turned upside down — those moments are more important than ever.”

Will you and your children be tuning in to “The Not-Too-Late Show with Elmo” before bed?
