Engineers Made A Real-Life BMW Transformer

YouTube | Letrons

Your day is about to get 100 times cooler. Turkish engineers at Letvision have created a real-life transformer out of a BMW. The car is electric and operated by a remote. When stopped (using the remote) the car will morph into you guessed it, a transformer!

According to Robotic Gizmos, while it cannot yet walk, fly or save the world from the Deceptions, it can move its head, neck and arms, wrists, fingers and talk. It also has dynamic lights and Wi-Fi (to operate the remote, of course). In addition to the red BMW (shown), there are four other models: Bizmut, Argon, Wolfram, and Tantal.

It took a team of 12 engineers and four technicians approximately eight months to complete the first model. They’re not yet drivable in traffic but for the right person, they are for sale (expensive, I’m sure).

This is pretty sweet. Be sure to show this to your kids or anyone who loves the “Transformer” movies. I hope they make Bumblebee next.
