Enrique Iglesias and Anna Kournikova share first photos of their newborn twins

Enrique Iglesias and Anna Kournikova have kept their relationship super private for more than a decade. So, of course, when Kournikova became pregnant, it was very hush-hush. TMZ reported that the couple gave birth to twins back in December 2017. And now — the secret’s out. The musician and former tennis player posted the first photos of their twin babies to Instagram, and *spoiler alert* they’re absolutely adorable!

Iglesias posted a photo snuggling up to one of the babies on his personal account with the caption “My sunshine”:

Kournikova followed suit, posing with the other baby and using the same caption:

TMZ reported that the twins are a girl named Lucy and a boy Nicholas, but the parents have neither confirmed nor denied the names. And considering each baby is dressed in a gray-colored onesie on Instagram, they are not giving any hints at the babies’ sex online just yet. However, these are only the first photos, so there’s a good chance more information (and more photos!) will come in the future!

The couple first met on the set of Iglesias’ “Escape” music video 16 years ago when Kournikova was 20 and he was 26, according to E! News. So, what’s the key to making a celeb-status relationship work for this long?

While they may not talk about their relationship often, they have repeatedly mentioned how crucial trust is for any relationship.

“Trust is key in any relationship,” Iglesias told Life & Style in 2014.

And Kournikova told The Daily Telegraph, “At the end of the day, you have to trust the people you’re with — if there’s no trust then why be with them?”

When so many celebrity relationships don’t last these days, it’s wonderful to see a couple who have not only gone the distance but are starting a family together. We couldn’t be happier for them!
