John Legend may be an EGOT recipient, but that doesn’t mean he’s free from a little friendly competition. In fact, Eva Longoria’s 3-month-old son is giving him a run for his money in the musical department — at least, that’s what the proud mom joked about in the most adorable Instagram video.

The video shows her son kicking a piano toy and cooing along with the music. Longoria can be heard off camera saying, “Good job! Are you the new John Legend? You’re so talented!” Because obviously — she’s already her son’s number one fan!

She posted the video to Instagram, tagging Legend and his wife Chrissy Teigen, writing:

“Hey @chrissyteigen, I think I found the new @johnlegend! Watch out John, he’s got talent!”

We’re sure the parents had a laugh about this!

Longoria welcomed Santiago Enrique Bastón on June 19 with her husband Jose Bastón. Since giving birth, the actress hasn’t been shy about the ups and downs of motherhood. So naturally, this isn’t the first time she’s reached out to fellow mom Teigen, who’s also known for telling it like it is.

Shortly after Santiago was born, Longoria wrote to Teigen on Instagram:

“Hey @chrissyteigen is this the official hairstyle of breast feeding?,” she asked. “I feel like I’m always in a messy top bun! Too hard to do anything else! #MomProblems.”

Teigen, who had also just posted a photo of herself breastfeeding her son Miles while sporting a topknot on Instagram, can definitely relate:

Despite the laughable “#MomProblems” that both moms have shared since welcoming little ones, they wouldn’t trade this parenting thing for the world.

Longoria has made the transition back into working, but she’ll never forget those first seven uninterrupted weeks she had with her son, calling them “the best seven weeks of [her] life” in an interview with “Entertainment Tonight.”

“You know what, it’s been [seven]  weeks, he’s seven weeks old, and I’ve been with him day and night, not working for seven weeks and it’s been the best seven weeks of my life,” she gushed. “I just miss him so much.”

Teigen and Legend have also found a parenting strategy that has worked great for them and even brought them closer together since having two kids.

“When Chrissy’s breastfeeding, I’m out playing with Luna in the yard,” Legend said during the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation Blue Diamond gala, according to Us Weekly. “It made us more of a team, even more so than we were before. When you have a joint project like this, raising kids together, I think for us, it’s brought us closer together.”

Parenting is rewarding, but challenging all at the same time, and Longoria, Teigen and Legend totally understand. They’ve found solutions for making it through the good times and bad times, but they know a little support from friends and family, and a good laugh, can go a long way.
