Faith Hill shares rare photos as she and Tim McGraw celebrate their anniversary

Country music power couple Faith Hill and Tim McGraw have been married for 22 years. The pair met back in 1994 when they were both involved with other people.

However, by 1996, McGraw asked Hill to open for him on tour, and their chemistry was undeniable. They married on Oct. 6, 1996.

They have continued to collaborate professionally over the years and they share three daughters: Maggie, Gracie and Audrey.

In honor of their recent anniversary, both singers took to Instagram to share photos that celebrate their marriage.

“To the love of my life, the one who still takes my breath away after 22 years of marriage,” Hill wrote alongside a series of photos of the pair from throughout the years. “My soul man, my soul mate, my everything. My one and only. Another 22 years is a good place to start. Happy Anniversary my love.”

McGraw also shared a black and white shot of himself and his wife and wrote, “Happy anniversary. My love, My soul mate, My life, Whatcha say….up for 22 more!!??”

The two have weathered ups and downs together, including McGraw’s battle with alcohol and drug abuse, but they emerged stronger and are still so in love. Earlier this year, they opened up to People about what keeps their marriage going.

Although they work together, the couple takes time out to have some fun, and they still have regular date nights.

“We just saw Springsteen on Broadway the other night in New York and it was the most incredible thing I’ve ever seen,” McGraw told the magazine. “Watching him and Patti together was magical.”

They also make sure to spend some time apart.

“We both have our daily routines and we have our own dressing rooms,” Hill explained. “We each have our own space to retreat to so we do get time to ourselves.”
